Feel free to pass by and say hello whenever you're nearby! 1852 SW 8 Street, Miami, Florida 33135 New Schedule as of 6/3/2019:
Boxing: Is a great introduction to the sweet science. Refine your subtle skills as you were about to get in the ring with seasoned champs. Work on the subtleties of boxing such as foot work angles, ring generalship and slipping punches while elevating your speed and power!
Brazilian Ji-Jitsu: Our Jiu-Jitsu program follows the guidelines and belt system of the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation. We have a highly active competition team, but we also cater to non-competitors just looking to get in shape and learn self defense.
Combatives: Combatives is an open format class that teaches various disciplines such as Boxing, BJJ, and self defense scenarious. We step out of the ring and practice real life scenarios. This class is ideal for Military, Law Enforcement or just anyone looking to improve their fighting game.
Junior Brazilian Ji-Jitsu: Our Jiu-Jitsu program for kids falls into ages 6-12. Jiu-Jitsu is excellent for children because they learn how to defend themselves from a potential bully without having to hurt anyone. It is a great confidence builder; it establishes discipline, higher self esteem, and better manners!
Junior Muay Thai Kickboxing: We have an excellent striking program for children. The age ranges are the same as in Junior BJJ. Kids learn various movement patterns from simple defense to highly advanced combinations. The kids will learn how to Thai clinch and throw spinning hook kicks. The sparring is very safe and controlled, the children mostly spar with instructors.
Lean and Mean: Lean and Mean is a conditioning class for morning warriors before heading to work. It's an open ended format but it consists mostly of boxing & kickboxing with the occasional Jiu-Jitsu practitioner stopping by. Different excercise routines include jumping rope, agility ladders, weights and hitting the pads.
Muay Thai Kickboxing: Muay Thai is a traditional art from Thailand. When it reached the shores of the US, it revolutionized the world of kickboxing and Karate. It further evolved during the growth of MMA and the UFC. Our ACS Muay Thai program is a style developed to be practical and competitive in MMA, boxing or kickboxing. It's also labeled MMA striking or Muay Thai for MMA. We practice a lot of bag work, shadowboxing, weights, and of course, sparring is always optional.
